2nd post...in one day...and 2nd page!

See....while I am working...scrapbooking....wow! I used freebies again, page idea...ribbons, papers, etc. But put them together with my creative genius! and if you wonder about journaling, etc...I do it when I get it...so at least something is done by hand...my hand.

Holiday Pages..

One down....many to go right? I am doing digital for a bit to get caught up. With working m-f (ugh) I simply cannot take the time to do traditional scrapbooking right now. I have to be at work...but when it's slow @ work..I can still scrapbook. No mess to clean up, no papers & embellisments to sort through. I even found a local print shop that will print 12x12 pages for less than $3! Nice! I have yet to BUY any digi stuff either...just take the freebies where & when I can find them. This one is from jessica sprague....a template & you just insert your photos. How easy is that?

I LOVE this paper & stamp set. IT comes with textured cardstock, patterned paper, stamps, die cuts...love it!

3D Tree card

Isn't this fun? It's a 3D pop up Tree card. As much as I'd like to take full credit...I can't. I did change up the color, added glitter, qpplique.....but the basic idea I lifted. I'll put the link in here too

December Hostess Project

We are doing two cards with the Enchanted papers from Winter Idea Book. Using paint, foil sheets, etc....should be fun & messy!

We got our tree!

We headed up to the hills today to cut down our tree. We talked...I think we have done it every year except the first 3 we were married. Our first xmas...Emma's first xmas...and then the next one we lived with my parents. So....I think we officially have a family tradition going! Every year....we go up to the mountains...national forest and cut down our tree. 4x4 required...or chains. We hike around, find a tree....cut er down & bring it home. They're always lacking in the fullness department...but always full of love & charm! I have always watched Charlie Brown Christmas stuff....and Emma has. Carson..he doesn't care. But this week when we watched it...both kids came to the realization and understanding of WHY we call our trees CHARLIE BROWN trees! But...just like on the show...our tree fills with love, charm, spirit and becomes GORGEOUS! I need to take a pix of it decorated...but you can see it in the woods!

Summer layout

Trying to get caught up...I HATE being behind in scrapbooking...the memories aren't fresh & I feel the pressure to scrap fast...here is one layout...of many to do!;

I made these cards tonight with the Legendary MOments stamp set, frame of mind, woodland sentiments and....card commentary. KInda a fun stamp set!!

Going back to digi for a bit

With me now working m-f....I just don't get to scrapbook or stamp or card make too much. BUT....I have a laptop, I have photo shop, digi files...may as well use em! So I will try & Do one page a day....that'll help me get caught up too! scrapbook pictures has great prints...then I can do xmas pages for parents calendar too! I will add handwriting journal on the strips on left later.

No stamping layout

I have a hard time stamping, but do like using patterned cardstock...used an old MM stack, thickers letters, ctmh: cardstock, pens, ribbon...like the "white" space on the page.

Let's get back to scrapbooking

Oh, boy...am I ever down in the dumps with my scrapbooking & creative juices! I need to get back into it. It helps keep my spirits high when I do it...but when I don't it's hard to start back up! Here is a layout with CHERISH as the guide, and I even used stamps (from autumn leaves (swirl) and CTMH (alphabet). LOVE IT!

Here are some pix from our girls only weekend. Mel, Emma and I went to Seattle to see becky. Kinda felt bad we never have been to see her....but finally have. We spent a life in the day (or two) about becky. FUn...she's a busy girl!
