Gelli play! On fabric

PPulled out my gelli printing plate today for a little creative play. I purchased some fabric a few weeks ago and wanted to try making a tote. Or a bag. But it's too this. It will be great on a mixed media canvas or something. Here's what I got from my printing today:

DPP: flowers

The third prompt was flowers. Still using my gelli print journal. Since there was a few layers of paint and sprays already. I added a few more for bold colors. Drew a couple flowers with India ink and blurred the background with some gesso. Then I found a flower quote and perfectly done!

Loved this prompt. I used the back page of the window page. Drips of all colors going all directions. Pulled out some old sticker letters and sprayed black. Had an accidental drip of black ink so went with it and added more!

Daily paper prompt

Stated a new challenge of sorta over at daisy yellow. She gives a daily paper prompt. Interpretation is up to me!  Today was "window".  I am using an art journal I made from gelli printed paper. So some of my prep work on a page is already done!  I cut a window and wrapped it in washi tape for this one. I even used a few of my hand carved stamps. The map is on the next page.

I love Instagram and use it for inspiration on all sorts of projects. I signed up for an art journal swap and love it. Every month I get mailed a new journal to add my work to. Here's Julys work.

I tend to make multiple art journal base pages that I can later work on. Once the base layers of color are done I can get to work. Here is one finished. I even journaled (unreadable to most, messy penmanship).
