Harvest Happiness…cards in a box

While the boys watched the Nebraska game last night Emma & I crafted.  She covered a note book w/ fabric and I pulled out the cricut & the new CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and made this adorable box and four cards to fit in it.  It’s gonna make a nice gift for someone!  I was able to use a different cut for each card front.  And I was quite pleased with out they came out!  All cardstock too….no patterns.  Goes to show you can create with what you have on hand!

And on the side…I dabble in…Jewelry Making

In February I went to the Creative University with Tresa Black..and was introduced to jewelry making by Erin G.  OH boy….like I ‘needed’ another hobby.  I have not been able to put the tools & beads down!  A couple of weeks ago I made a quick strand of beads in gold & green to match my sons football team colors…gotta look good @ the game right?  The other day my friend Lindsey linked me to a site that made cool Huskers charms….and I KNEW I could do it on my own.  Today I ended up at Ace Hardware & Harbor Freight Tools getting supplies…that turned into heading to Hobby Lobby & Micheals…and made these:

Ready For SUMMER

Emma is always ready to change her look when a new season rolls around.  This summer I think she had different hair every few weeks!  From a sassy hair cut, to bleached & dyed streaks….she was enjoying the new season! I used new CTMH papers, die cut shapes, and letters…funky…just like Emma!

Seriously…I CANNOTenough of Halloween stuff.  It’s my fav!  And pair that with a super cool layout & card…bonus!  I used the Art Philosophy Cart again…cut the lacey shape, the border, the title…cool eh? I used the extras for the card.  Super easy!

When I cut all the flower images on the Cricut…I did lots of other images. Leaves, signs, arrows, etc. This fall card came toghether so easy!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE flowers…all shapes, sizes, colors…even weed flowers!  One thing I had been wanting so badly from CTMH was a die cut system to match the stamps.  They finally listened…and made one!  ART PHILOSOPHY!  A while ago I pre cut a bunch of flowers…finally took a few minutes and used them!

BLOGTOBER.....and fall photos

So...Joining TRESA's BLOG and going to try & PUMP UP my blog! I have been accused many times lately of putting too much on facebook..probably cuz it's easier! And I can do it from my phone. I guess I'll just move more of it here eh? :)

Starting off...fall photos. Rarely does a weekend include the activities I, ME, MOM wants to do! SO I insisted that yesterday was a mom day. We drove up the Poudre River and enjoyed the fall colors, played in the river and bonded ;). Heard my almost 14 year old say "It was FUN". WOOHOO!

Ack....it's barely starting fall & I made a Holiday Card!

SO...not only does the new cartridge cut 3D flowers, it cuts flower shapes that coordinate with a super cute & fun flower stamp set! SO SO easy to create with!
