Snow....and it's not halloween...

but no, that's not unusual....it's NORMAL.....but I don't have to like it. It is nice how it forces you in & snuggling down...but the kids go nuts...so they shoveled...and shoveled...and finally went sleddin!

a few crafty moments today...

LOVED how this one turned out. the scallop border is actually a die cut on top of a die cut chipboard border...w/ brads.

i cannot remember the name of this paper pack..it was all gadget like...remember?

and this really does look better irl...it's crazy & wild...great for a boy bday right?

used up some OLD OLD papers, some scraps & leftover die cuts from a dazzling die cut promo w/ ctmh!

Got creative w/ acryllic shapes & linen in cuttlebug! With some paint too!

PAINTED the } here.

dry embossed the { and the linen background. I then painted the { with brown paint, wiped off what wasn't in the dot recessed area...then painted yellow!

Painted brown, then wiped off...then painted orange, the brown didn't pop too much so i hit the top w/ stazon brown...LOVE IT! See the dry embossed swirly's?

So...have TONS of these little acryllic shapes (hearts, flowers, birds, etc) and they are so blah...so i painted them, dry embossed in cuttlebug...painted some more, etc. AND LOVED IT! Then I found a sheet of sticky backed linen...which looked so sad next to the painted & embossed stuff....so I did it to the linen...and it worked....well, i didn't paint it but might tomorrow!

nah..i didn't fall off the creative planet...just taking a rest....in the meantime...it's SNOWING

and really it's NOT too early for snow...just odd since yesterday was so warm we wore shorts & tshirts!

and the leaves on my trees are still there & some still green!
