Stamped Layouts

White on White

My own little challenge to myself...white paper, white ink, clear powder...a little bamboo to edge stuff....but white only!

I kinda like how it turned out!

What about this one?

I used accents from the 2peas sprague digital free kit...I would print it like a regular size photo & put inside a card.

Possible valentine card pix

I borrowed the letters from a friend...I think I kinda like how it turned out!

What do you think?

About these 2 two page layouts for a workshop? The colors are a bit off from the scan, and they are really 12x12 layouts...bit skewed on stitch!

The bug...has bit me too!

I think I "need" one of those cuttle bugs. But, had I kept my sizzix I wouldn't "need" another machine! I used rolling pin to create the texture with the embossing folder & REALLY like how it turned out!

Flower card/purse

These little fun goodies were for my unit meeting today. I made up a purse design & let each lady make their own with their twist on colors/stamps. And the card is for my swap with them. I chalked the image on the right...it looks better IRL...the vineyard berry on left really pops with the flower colors. And the purse...well, I will have to take some pix of later...with my daughters to share better idea of how it turned out.

How to watermark???

Do you need a copywright or just your name? What it does is protect your art from being stolen or claimed by another. So just my name or a slogan/logo should be fine eh?

I guess from what I read...you make a watermark. save it as a black/white image. When you drag it onto your image to mark...that is where you change it to an emobssed & light image...to do the trick. Why can't you have it transparent before?

I see it on all sorts of artwork images....and think I need one now. But, how do you make it? I found a tutorial & made one. But it appears you copy & paste it onto your image....and then lighten it...right? Why can't it just be lightened before? Or does it have to do with it being transparent once on the image? Who knows. Here is a pix of a plate I painted and a few watermarks I "made".

Some fun cards

Here are a few cards I managed to make the past few days. The redish background paper was made by using versamark to stamp the large flower on glossy cardstock & they I used a brayer to apply Vineyard Berry ink...and stamped ontop with a the thin flower & vineyard berry ink.

January Hostess Items

I fibbed a bit & didn't do a page this month. Instead a little pillow box & mini card to go with. Might be for a loved one, a teacher, child...special friend. The stamp of the month for January is all about hearts & little words....so I had to use it. That's why next month I'll not have the ladies stamp LOVE on the page...unless they really want to ;)!

I ended up adding glitter to the pillow box to dress it up a bit...

Feb Hostess Layout

I really should work on the january one...but didn't feel like it. I used the new Sonata papers here, died flowers. I will have my hostess club use the Feb stamp of the month instead of the boutique...makes more sense!
