Fun craft for the kids..magnetic acorn shells!

isn't this cute? you take acorn tops...color them w/ waterbased markers (crayola!)...LOTs of color....and then fill in with white glue (Elmers). Let it dry...takes a few days...and VOILA...that is what happens! Aren't they cool? We made alot of them & made magnets!

Finally...something creative...;)

I used my cricut gypsy to cut the flower tag...then filled in empty space w/ liquid glass, so it's all shiny!

and this is my fav! The flowers are clear acryllic shapes emobossed & painted!

using only scraps to make cards now....need to clear out some stuff!!

So the HI card is pretty much exactly what i wanted. the chip board scalloped shapes are white cardstock base...sprayed & shimmere dup! the HI is flannel like stuff from thickers. then i have these shapes...what am i gonna do w/ them...they are all inked up. the three funky looking ones are simply smoosed into the left over spray from dyeing...fun huh?

a few gypsy cards...with glimmer mist...and spray dye..

but I DO LOVE this one...with the birds. I inked in black, then spritzed w/ gold sheer mist...so shiny!

So....i cut a bunch of shapes the other night....all white cardstock. so tonight I sprayed & spritzed & inked...not 100% what i was going for...but fun to play anyways.

Oooho.....so so happy...I have a Gypsy...and look what it made!!

ok....so I wanted this...and also wanted the expressions.....but Micheals & Cricut were having this amazing deal...so I had to get the gypsy first.....it does so much...and I am now going to have more reasons to use the badboys w/ my scrapbook pages! I have not used the cricut on a layout in .....YEAR?!?! or more!!! So...Today I made TWO pages...I have the photos @ the printer...need to pick them up so I can finish them....

This one is for emma's photo....i used the gypsy for the spider, the happy (which used five diff fonts) and the halloween..(which used alot of alpha fonts). oooh...and the pumpkins too!
