Funky Flowered Mini Card w/ TOO MANY BRADS

But what can ya say....they were calling me. I felt like I was channeling ifr. Not that it's her style or anything...just when i was making it i thought of her art.

Now...this one has a funky color too! What's up w/ that? I had scraps is what. I used some distress stickles to make dots, rustic floral dots...and flower. Plus a 'door' to say thank you!

Random Stamping W/ funky color...for me at least

I have never quite liked this peachy orangish whatever color CTMH has BUt....I bought a whole pack of it so may as well use it right? and cottage floral & smile (!?) stamp set make random stamping easy. I do like them when all was said & done....but man...anyone else have problems w/ that color?

Here is my take on this weeks design. I kinda moved the squares over to center...and used a funky orange w/ the green...it's ok.

< I have a friend who always gives me great deals on massages...so I felt I 'owed' her. She's going on a 3 week trip to Ireland in a few weeks...SO....being a scrapper it sounded like a perfect time to give her a mini book. Lots of spots for notes, pockets for memorabilia!

Unexpected Creative Session....and this is what came out of it

A few cards....simple one & a busy one..

Ok...so the BUSY one first. It's not really a normal card...it doesn't fold...it's a flat sheet of cardstock. That i mounted an " a door able on" then let that be the 'card'. I am not 100% happy with the placement of the flowers on the front...but too late now! I do like it...busy as it is!

forgot i even made this one! I was trying to use grey...never use that color & do like it...wonder why ctmh never uses it either? And...I am making a whole hearted effort to stamp/decorate the INSIDES of my cards from now on!

SUPER SIMPLE! Scrap of patterned paper...a stamp & voila...the yellow dot is from Martha...on clearance @ wally world...like candy dots!

Had fun with a layout ...finally!

Sometimes i feel obligated to scrapbook photos. Even if i don't like them. I always enjoy the events that occured when the photos were taken...just not the process of 'having' to scrap them. Does that make sense? well...this layout was FUN to do....i made four pages just before this that were not enjoyable @ all! But maybe the images were better or the colors..who knows.

COLOR challenge card for other blog..

So...sorry for the cheesy pix...cell phone was closer than camera. I used some glitter glue...LOVE that stuff...not sure i like the birds placement..but used a glue dot so it's not moving! COLOR CHALLENGE BLOG HERE

Nancy's Crazy Colors...very bright!

A fellow ctmh sister created this color combo for the board...watermelon, sunflower, white & ocean....WOW...I think I ended up using honey but don't think it really mattered. IT's still bright & Fun & SUMMERy!

Lots of goodies...rainbow cards, fourth of july...

I made these in the the past..10 days or so...used scraps & played..no rules...no pressure..just for fun. I LOVE the first rainbow one here...and the last one w/ all the butterflies...and i am not a huge 4th fan..but rather pleased w/ the little cards that i made!
