BOO....halloween banner...LOVE IT!

So...if you really know me..you know I LOVE HALLOWEEN...it's my favorite holiday. Even over Christmas (which i really don't like at all). Earlier this year I got a black bench & black mirror...for the hallway...they just were calling out for some halloween deco. I used a tea dyed mesh to drape around it (will add some leaves/spiders later)...put a vinyl spider up on mirror & put this banner up. Learned technique from Tresa Black!

MY new love...Work In Progress Album

There it is. Nothing fancy. No decoration, No bells & whistles. It's a big 3 ring binder that has rings to line up with my CTMH page protectors. It slides into a sleeve to keep it from falling, etc. Anyways...I put ALL my extra page protectors including photo ones...you know the ones that hold 4-6 photos not scrapbook pages. Then....I took my photos to be scrapped & organized them. I put a piece of white daisy cardstock in a PP (Page protector) and put the photos for the layout in the pp with it. so they are all sorted & ready to be scrapped! NICE!

So...not 100% happy with the results of this one..but was worth the glittery mess to try. The whole skull image & the eye patch & the hat are glittered!

I used staz on to ink up the metal tag, added two leaves & a button

SO...excited I finally got my new CLOSE TO MY HEART stuff!! Click on link there for new idea book. I have only played with the stuff for a little bit. I used a new CLEAR CARD and OLIVIA paper pack & THE PRESENT stamp set. They are SO SO fun & great for fall!!

I dont' think we sell stick stock linen anymore..boo hiss...i used a portion of my very last piece on this card!

This page turned out better & worse than i had imagined. I really liked the colors..how the title worked...up until I added "to have u". I should have left it off or used a smaller font...but too late now!

and a paper flower card

i used my cricut to cut some scalloped flowers (cirlces)....and cut slits to the center on each bump..does that make sense? Inked, rolled & voila!

and it's not my normal 'style'...but i love it! i used my cricut to cut a flower, also stamped a heart multiple times to make a flower..cut into center on petals...and cut out frame from old stamp set to ground it all.

Lovely fabric flowers ala Tresa!

I watched her ustream the other night & FELL IN LOVE with these flowers. SO in NO WAY are they my idea...all hers!! She does some cool classes you should check her out...not classes really...tutorials...TRESA!!!!!!!
